Specs’ Breakdown

1. 10 Autoglyphs sell for 5,000 ETH ($14.5M)

⌐◪-◪ → A full set of 10 Autoglyphs just sold for $14.5M, making it one of the highest NFT sales in history.

For those who don’t know, Autoglyphs is Larva Labs’ (the creators of CryptoPunks) 2nd project, and it’s widely recognized as the first on-chain generative art project on the Ethereum blockchain.

Furthermore, it’s the only remaining “pure” Larva Labs project given that Yuga Labs acquired CryptoPunks and Meebits' intellectual property.

Aside from being one of the highest NFT sales in history, this sale is notable because it’s one of the few complete Autoglyph sets in existence.

With only 512 glyphs in existence, even the most early and bullish collectors were not able to obtain a full set — making this buyer (and seller) on-chain legends, forever.

Historic NFTs for the win.

2. SBF turns gangster as shown in leaked prison photos

⌐◪-◪ → It looks like SBF is making all sorts of new friends in jail, as shown in the first (and maybe only) photo of him since he was locked up.

Per usual, we have independent journalist and internet troll Tiffany Fong to thank for this leak. Better yet, she also interviewed ex-Blood Gang Member “G Lock” who’s shown standing next to SBF in the photo. While the full interview hasn’t been posted yet, we got a little bit of insider info from G Lock.

G Lock said SBF has lost a lot of weight, grown a full beard, and is not showering very much. Contrary to popular belief, G Lock said the “dropped the soap” joke is not a real concern and that nobody is bullying Sam except for “that one incident”.

G Lock is a big fan of Sam, saying that he’s “not a snitch” and even though he’s “weird as shit” he’s “more gangster than Tekashi69”. He loves Sam so much that he started a #FreeSamBankmanFried campaign, calling out Joe Biden to pardon SBF.

Anyway, stay tuned if you want to see the full G Lock interview, which will be posted on Tiffany’s YouTube channel in the coming days.

3. Swiss Post Office to launch BTC trading and custody service

⌐◪-◪ → PostFinance, the 5th largest bank in Switzerland is launching Bitcoin trading and custody services tomorrow.

The new offering is in collaboration with Sygnum Bank and will provide it’s 2.5 million customers access to 11 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

For context, this means over a quarter of the Swiss population will be able to buy as little as $50 in Bitcoin.

This feels very on-brand for Switzerland, especially after former President Obama called Bitcoin a “Swiss bank in everyone’s pocket”.

TIL: Since 2016 it’s been possible to purchase BTC from any train ticket dispenser in Switzerland.

Keep up the good work Switzerland.
