This sale comes on the heels of other major NFT sales like the recent $16M CryptoPunk sale and the $14.5M Autouglyph set sale.

The seller held this ape for 1,041 days after minting it for 0.08 ETH, making this a 308,575% return on the investment.

⌐◪-◪ → The Arizona State Senate is actively considering adding the recently approved spot Bitcoin ETFs to the state’s retirement portfolio.

The bill passed the Senate’s Third Reading in a 16-3 vote and is now being reviewed by the House for the second time.

If approved, this will put a lot of pressure on other States to do the same and could set off a Bitcoin-purchasing race between States.

This is a big deal considering there is $5.5T sitting in state pension funds, which would be a major unlock for Bitcoin.

In addition to bringing more capital inflows to Bitcoin, which is good for our bags, hundreds of thousands of voters will now have exposure to Bitcoin — which could significantly propel demand and political support.

One can imagine how this quickly evolves to entire Nations competing against one another to purchase Bitcoin, in fact, Snowden thinks some Nations (beyond the ones we know) are already buying in secret.

Bitcoin is the new retirement.

While I think this is hilarious, and love this flavor of internet culture, it will end poorly for 99% of traders (gamblers). So if you choose to engage, only put up what you’re willing to lose 100% of.

Lastly, while some call this a “top signal”, I don’t think it is. The macroeconomic situation for Bitcoin — and therefore the entire crypto market — is stronger than ever thanks to the increased demand from BTC ETFs and upcoming supply reduction from the halving.
