9/18/23: Is Elizabeth Warren About To Ruin Crypto? 📜👋🇭🇰

Today’s Top Stories ⌐◪-◪

  • 📜 Senator Warren’s anti-money laundering bill sees major support

  • 👋 Bitboy and others dismissed from FTX case ahead of SBF’s trial

  • 🇨🇳 Hong Kong influencer arrested for ties to troubled JPEX exchange

⌐◪-◪ → Senator Warren’s ability to rally 12 influential senators (from both sides of the aisle) shows that there is a heightened sense of awareness over crypto on Capital Hill. I’m worried about what this bill means for privacy as well as general crypto innovation in the US.

⌐◪-◪ → This is probably a smart move considering SBF’s trial starts in two weeks and the entire world will be watching. I’d want to get as far away from that as possible.

⌐◪-◪ → At the moment, it’s unclear what this influencer did other than simply promote the exchange. The JPEX situation itself is starting to look a lot like FTX - definitely something worth keeping an eye on this week.
